We ship our plants either bare root or in pots with soil. A plant’s size is included in the description of the plant.

Peonies

Herbaceous peonies: We ship these plants bare root in the fall at the appropriate planting time. Please refer to the Shipping Schedule for your zone. Most bare root herbaceous peonies will have 3 to 5 eyes unless stated otherwise. Some popular and rare varieties will have 2 to 3 eyes.

Tree peonies: Shipped bare root in the fall. Our large plants are 3 to 5 years old with at least 3 to 4 woody stems and very good root systems unless otherwise indicated.

Perennials

Hosta: We ship bare root plants with a minimum of at least 1 eye per plant.

Green House Plants

Clivias: Shipped bare root. These plants are not covered by our guarantee policy.
